The decision to invite the Federal Police down to the base proves to be good. Ben and the survivors help the Hyclarion Rangers uncover a plot to assassinate the Emperor and overthrow the Empire. When word of the plot reaches Hyclarion, the Emperor himself decides he would like to meet these new humans. After the Emperor arrives and while speaking to Ben, the Lizards declare war on the Empire.
