Year 2040, Kolkata. A disastrous turn in history has caused the City of Joy to become the Army Capital of India. It's a place where government-induced censorship and army surveillance are at their tightest. But in spite of all that, one day 35 people vanish suddenly from the face of the city... all at once, leaving not a single clue. Two CID officers, in their attempt to solve this mystery, soon find themselves faced with questions much bigger. Is this kidnapping, or part of a more sinister international conspiracy? Do these disappearances have anything to do with a popular smartphone? What does a mysterious underground organization know about this that the law enforcement doesn't? And where on earth have all these people disappeared to? While searching for the criminals, the detectives get caught up in a world that functions in the grey area of morality.
