BROKENHEART continues the thriller series begun with CLEARCUT. It follows the story of Adrian Cervantes, an Army Ranger and the lone survivor of an ambush overseas. He returned to the States with a briefcase of pilfered cash and a vow to divide the money among the families of his team. Adrian's search for the last surviving member of one comrade's family takes him deep into the Wyoming wilderness. There, he gets caught in a crossfire between a Brazilian hitman and a posse of federal agents. Getting out alive will require every skill he learned as a Ranger, the aid of some unlikely allies, and his own killer instinct.
