Codex: Black Templars (Warhammer 40,000)

The Codex: Black Templars is an expansion book for the Games Workshop Table Top game Warhammer 40,000. This book was published for the first time in 2005, and is for the 4th edition of Warhammer 40,000 and its Codex: Space Marines. It was the 3rd codex realized for this edition of the game. The Space Marines of the Adeptus Astartes are Humanity's ultimate warriors, dedicated to the defence of the Emperor and the Imperium of Man. They are barely human at all, but superhuman, having been made superior, in all respects, to a normal man by a harsh regime of genetic modification, psycho-conditioning and rigorous training. Organised into small independent armies called Chapters, their unswerving loyalty is to the Emperor of Mankind and no other. The Black Templars are one of these Chapters, eschewing the idea of a home world they have taken to the star in might crusade fleets, actively seeking out the enemies of Mankind.
