Deep Cuts

Recently divorced and expelled from an end times cult, Cody Ferguson lives a quiet life of blurred monotony until an embarrassing near death experience forces him to face the stranger in his mirror. Visits from his recently deceased father let loose demons of past abuse, adultery, and deceit. Cody's chance meeting with enigmatic younger woman, Soledad Estrada, and his obsession with her places him on a collision course with betrayed former friends and long forgotten ambitions, transforming Cody from docile office worker to feral pugilist. Conventional life's rules and norms are challenged during his conversion. Concepts of security, conformity and surety are questioned: are they practicality or fear? When is it too late to be what you might have been? When is it too late to find out?
