Destry Rides Again

This rough-and-tumble Western pits Harry Destry against the twelve jurors who sent him to prison for a crime he didn't commit. The thoughtful study of human nature, confrontation and retribution is enhanced by the masterful narration of John Randolph-Jones. His deep, husky voice sets the tone for the male cast of characters, but he's also able to soften it for the character of Charlotte Dangerfield. It's easy to envision a drunken Harry whooping and hollering in a bar scene, as well as the tentative, broken man who returns from prison. The many plot turns in this enjoyable Western will keep listeners entranced to the end. Famed fighter Harry Destry comes back from jail a changed man. The town thinks he no longer has what it takes to defend himself, but Destry's innocent act covers a plot for vengeance against the men who set him up.
