Einstein Plus Two

The book presents an alternative paradigm to Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity.It is based on the assumption that it is the velocity of charges (and matter) with respect to the traversed field that is the correct velocity to use in electromagnetic theory. It is not the velocity with respect to an observer as assumed by Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity.This results in a theory that satisfies the relativity principle without having to distort space and time. In section one, It derives all the experimentally verified phenomena following from the Einstein theory. In section two, it derives the quantization of electron orbits, the Schrodinger equation and a new insight into the nature of Planck's constant (which hitherto had to be postulated). Section 3 is devoted to topics in gravitation. It presents a derivation by Paul Gerber in 1898 of the advance of the perihelion of Mercury using only classical physics. It also includes a derivation of the Titius series, for which no dynamic explanation has hitherto been available.
