Foundation Mathematics

Covers the foundation of mathematics needed by students (without the dreaded "C" word—-CALCULUS!). All major topics are included: arithmetic, basic algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and functions while only touching on the basics of calculus. Mathematics is finding ever wider areas of application as we seek to understand more about the way in which the natural world and the man-made environment operate and interact.
