دربارهٔ کتاب

The Jinn comes from Islamic religion and mythology. It is a free willed spirit, but it can be controlled by magically binding it to an object. Most of us think of The Genie of the Magic Lamp in the story of Aladdin from The Thousand and One Nights or the Disney movie. My favorite was always portrayed by actress, Barbra Eden, in I Dream Of Genie, on American Pop Culture Television. I’m always amazed by how accurately the show depicted the shenanigans a good hearted jinni could manage to drag her unaware master into. Although, quite fun to watch, not so much to experience in real life. Jinn have many descriptions, some live deep in the earth and appear as monstrous creatures, some take the form of animals, some have wings and can fly, others appear as black dogs, some eat or possess humans, and others can even appear as beautiful women. If the Jinn is fond of a person it can give them great wealth, protection, and power. If it does not like you it can cause you harm, torture, and even bring death. Genie is the English term for the Arabic ‫نج‬ (jinn). In pre-Islamic Arabian mythology and in Islam, a jinni (also "djinni" or "djini") is a member of the jinn (or "djinn"), a race of creatures. The word "jinn" literally means anything which has the connotation of concealment, invisibility, seclusion and remoteness. Genie is the usual English translation of the Arabic term jinni, but it is not an Anglicized form of the Arabic word, as is commonly thought. The English word comes from French génie, which meant a spirit of any kind, which in turn came from Latin genius, which meant a sort of tutelary or guardian spirit thought to be assigned to each person at birth (see genius). With the variations in translation came the variations in myths. We hope to introduce the facts to any new jinn master, and perhaps enlighten a few of the knowledgeable. Most important, we want to arm every reader with the knowledge and power to recognize a good jinni from a bad one, and how not to get taken advantage of by scoundrels or jinn. INTRODUCTION 3 HISTORY OF JINN IN SOCIETY 4 EXISTENCE OF JINN 18 TYPE AND ORDER OF JINN 23 LIFE AND POWER OF JINN 24 JINN AND THE AFTER LIFE 27 POSSESSION BY JINN 28 UNDERSTANDING JINN AND THEIR FORMS 30
