Kira Aso is a timid artist who lives with her mom, and Rei Kashino is a flirt and playboy with a penchant for racing motorcycles professionally. These two unlikely teenagers fall in and out of love (and in again by the end) Fills in the details of what happened to the characters of 'Mars' before the series began, including Kira and Rei's first meeting and Tatsuya and Rei's battle for Kiya's affections. Also includes two additional stories. When old friends of Rei show up at the school fair, Kira finds that she may have some heated competition for his love. His old flame, Shiori, confesses that she never gave up loving Rei, and she now wants him back Kira and Rei fall in love, and Kira cheers for him when he races his motorcycle in the Suzuka 8 Endurance Race
