Midnight Escape

Times are hard in the Great Depression years of the 1930s, and Beth Curtis is even more desperate than most. She's always known the powerful Wilkerson family might try to claim baby Joey, whom she's been raising almost since birth. But until Guy Wilkerson showed up at her door, she hadn't realized they were willing to use any means, legal or not, to claim him. Beth, knowing she can't fight the Wilkerson money and power, makes the only choice she can with Joey. Run! Hide! But the Wilkersons aren't giving up. They're still after her.
