Calli Munro, American, soon-to-be-economics-professor and single by choice, arrives in Vistaria during La Fiesta de la Luna, a combination of Mardi Gras and Carnival. Calli's there to keep her sex-kitten cousin, Minnie, out of trouble. When she meets Nicolás Escobedo, the powerful bastard half-brother of Vistaria's president, she realizes she is the one in trouble.
