As a fox shifter, I was meant to fulfill a great prophecy. All I needed to do was find my mate and watch the magic unfold—or so it is written. The powerful warlock must have had a good chuckle when he doled out that power—the Jagger foxes were meant to fail, me most of all. Nothing has ever come easily for me—particularly not love. So why should finding my mate be any different? It shouldn’t be this hard, not when Jordan is already a fighter by nature, but the universe won’t let us win so easily. But mates can’t be kept apart, not at any cost. One way or another, we’ll find our way back to each other...won’t we? I have to have faith that even with the mob on our backs, a fake marriage, and a year apart, Jordan and I will prevail in the end.
