daydreaming- That's all Marianne does in class. Ever since her mother died she's lost interest in practically everything. Even becoming a fourth grade wizard doesn't seem special any more. Marianne doesn't think she'll ever care the same way about anything again. Then things start looking brighter when she gets a puppy of her own to love. Now she doesn't have time to daydream anymore.
