Sixth grader Mike Peters discovers a murderer on his paper route-and must decide what to do about it. In the Northside of Chicago, Mike Peters lives an average life with his family. His paper route includes Dickens Avenue, and he plays streetball and street hockey when he's finished with his route, his homework, and his chores. He gets to see the headlines of the day as he throws issues of Chicago Today to his local customers' doorsteps-but the biggest headline is on his route, not printed in paper. Despite only being in sixth grade, the paperboy discovers a shocking truth when he comes across a "Grudge List"-that someone on his route is a murderer.
