The Heartstone

Ariana receives a magical crystal that catapults her to Ledrith a magical celtic world where the Heartstone originated. In order to get home she has to return the Heartstone to the Web of Stars without being captured by the tyrant Rhysin. In the process of her journey she is helped by the Lord Jarod and the mage Cerynus who teaches her how to use the magic of the Stone. After many adventures she reaches the Web of Stars. If she puts it back she goes home and now she's not so sure of what she wants. From the Author This novel melds my interest in the celts with a lifelong voracious appetite for fantasy novels. I dreamed it one night when I was sixteen, wrote it all down in a notebook over that summer and left it in a drawer fora long time.One day I decided to take it out and discoverd there was a kernel of a story which had stayed with me throughout almost twenty years. So I dusted it off andrewrote it as an adult. I decided that a strong modern woman who found herself in a quest situation and then wasn't sure she wanted to get back to normality was the way to go and this is the result.
