Transport phenomena

Treats momentum transport (viscous flow), energy transport (heat conduction, convection, and radiation), and mass transport (diffusion). All topics are organized around the ``equations of change'': the equations of motion, energy, and continuity. Careful attention is paid to the presentation of the basic theory.\* Enhanced sections throughout text provide much firmer foundation than the first edition.\* Literature citations are given throughout for reference to additional material. This title presents an introduction to transport phenomena. Topics include mass transport, momentum transport and energy transport, which are presented at three different scales: molecular, microscopic and macroscopic.
