What You Wish For

Mickey's eighteenth birthday has arrived. She is out celebrating with her friends with chocolate milkshakes and chili cheese fries, but something is not quite right. When she gets home, she finds out that her parents had forgotten her big day. Her mother had left a note that she had a work dinner and to order something. Depressed as she is, she starts IMing her brother a few hundred miles away at college. After her brother has called their mother to give her a bit of a butt chewing, her parents race home to fix their mistake, only to get into a car accident and die after a long surgery. Shortly, Mickey finds out that all of her wishes come true, even the ones she doesn't mean. At first, everything is wonderful. She manages to get a large life insurance payoff so she is financially secure for the foreseeable future. She finds a dog that she can claim as all hers. She also ends up wishing for the attention of her long time crush, only to find out that her wishes are starting to go awry and instead of a lover, she gets a stalker.
