Overview: Blue Ashcroft loves many things, but above all her husband, reading, writing and being in the water. When she isn't writing under this or one of her other pen names, she's probably working through the 5-7 books a week she typically reads. Deeper is based heavily on her experiences as a lifeguard for most of her young adulthood. Even though she eventually moved on to college and graduated with a degree in Psychology, she's never forgotten the way it felt to stand on a pool deck watching the water or the visceral feeling of jumping in to save someone from drowning. Or the way it feels to kiss your first love underwater...
